KOREA'S MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TEACHING JOBS

www.MeetTutors.com is a Vancouver-based Canadian company. We do two things.

1. We connect a tutor with a student locally.

2. We connect an ESL teacher with South Korea's Ministry of Eduation as an exclusive local recruiter for the Ministry.

There are two types public school ESL teaching jobs available in South Korea.

I. EPIK jobs:
EPIK or English Program in Korea is a supervisory body within South Korea's Ministry of Education that hires ESL teachers for public schools across the country.

- Type: full-time public school ESL teacher
- Level: elementary and middle schools
- Locations: Busan, Jeju, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gyeongnam, Gangwon, etc.
- Working hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm (classroom hours: 22 hours)
- Starting dates: March 1 or September 1 (The recruiting for March and September positions begin in October and April, respectively.)
- Compensation: KRW1.8-2.6mn/month

II. After-school ESL program jobs:
Some public schools also run after an ESL program after schools.

- Type: full-time public school ESL teacher
- Level: elementary/middle/high schools
- Locations: Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon
- Working hours: Mon-Fri, 12:00pm-6:00pm
- Starting dates: open
- Compensation: KRW2.0-2.3mn/month

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Native speaker of English
